Booking a tour is easy! First, select your desired tour. Select your preferred date and time, provide your contact information, and any requested sites or landmarks. We'll contact you once we've secured the best private tour guide for your party. We'll go over the general tour information for your chosen experience and let you know if any of your requested sites or landmarks can't be included due to closure, time constraints, events, etc.

A 2-hour private tour is a great introduction to get to know our cities. This tour length will usually allow to see most of the major and well-known sites featured in your tour category. If you have specific site requests, would like to know a little more than your average visitor, or if you would like to "see-it-all", we would recommend a 4-hour tour. A 4-hour tour will allow for transportation to multiple locations between walking portions. This is a great option if you would like to see the city and a plantation on the same day.

Our guides are happy to stay with you the entire day if your party is interested in seeing the most of our cities in one visit. You also can arrange to split longer tours in different city sections over the course of a weekend. Keep in mind, that each smaller tour will need to meet our 2-hour minimum, but there is more than enough to see in each part of town to easily fill that window.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable.

Comfortable shoes are a must for our Walking Tours. Expect to cover a few miles of historic streets on our tour. It is possible to have a tour entirely from a vehicle, but we feel it limits what you can see and discuss, as many locations in prevent parking in the immediate vicinity. A hybrid Driving/Walking Tour would be the best option if you would like the comfort of a vehicle but also would like a more accurate and informative description at each location.

Yes, all our tours are led by licensed and experienced guides who will provide you with interesting insights and stories about the destinations. Our guides are passionate about their work and will ensure you have a memorable tour experience.

There are a few limitations on outside tour guides imposed by individual landmarks and historic sites. Our guides are happy to accompany your party if you would like your tour to include those areas. They can expand on any information provided by the site tour guides, as well as show your party areas that just as exciting, but may not be included in the standard venue tour due to time constraints.

If your party requests to see one of these locations, your guide will inform you of any limitations set by the historic sites that may affect your private tour.

Absolutely! We customize the itinerary to suit your preferences and interests. We can't guarantee that we can pack all of the amazing places to see in a two-hour tour, but we would love to work with your party to find the perfect length tour to fit in all of your requests.

Some historic sites and landmarks have non-standard hours due to maintenance, service times, private events, etc. If your party requests sites that have hours conflicting with the requested tour time, we will make alternate suggestions.
