THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE CITY

Nature Tours

Explore the natural beauty that surrounds Charleston. Adventure over to Sullivan’s Island and learn about the biodiversity of the Charleston Harbor estuary. Fort Moultrie, a pivotal Revolutionary War fort, can also be found here. Take a ride over to Captain Sam’s Inlet, and you might be lucky enough to see the bottlenose dolphin strand feeding. It’s one of the few places in the world where you can witness amazing behavior without requiring a boat trip.

The historic plantations are located along the Intra Coastal Waterway, offering abundant wildlife viewing. Butterflies fill the air of their gardens, and you’ll usually spot turtles and alligators sunning themselves in the small water holes around the property. The songs of coastal birds provide a wonderful background to the sights of the property.
